Dedication of plaque commemorating San Felipe Incident and Treaties of Velasco

Remembrance of the sacrifice of the men at the Battle of Velasco

The Daughters of the Republic of Texas-Cradle of Texas Chapter will dedicate a new plaque

commemorating the San Felipe Incident and the Treaties of Velasco.

The Old Velasco/Surfside Beach Historical Committee and the Old Fort Velasco Historical Association

will remember the men and the Monument which commemorate their sacrifice at the Battle of Velasco.

Free and open to the public

Refreshments will be served in Surfside Beach City Hall after the program.​
